Prior to spending time learning the renewable market, Justin was a Co-Founder and EVP, Land for Action Energy (“Action”).  Action was a 100% Eagle Ford focused company backed by Old Ironsides Energy. Justin was instrumental in assembling a contiguous 5K acre block in McMullen County. The block was assembled through grass roots leasing and several small acquisitions. While at Action Justin was also heavily involved in the generation and evaluation of over $2B of offers to perspective sellers. Over $500MM of these opportunities were self sourced and off market. 

Prior to Co-Founding Action, Justin held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility at Encana Oil & Gas, Freeport McMoRan Oil & Gas, and Plains Exploration & Production Company. 

Justin holds a BS Degree from the University of Louisiana, where he was an All Conference player on the Ragin Cajun’s baseball team.
